Love this drama because it's Vic AGAIN! He's so sexy. Anyways.... it starts out with Xu Le (Vic) at a hotel writing on his laptop. He happens to be a famous writer under an anonymous name called Ye Zi, but he couldn't find any inspirations for his characters and was really bummed. He has been locked in that hotel room for awhile and wouldn't let the cleaning ladies clean his room. One day, the cleaning ladies knocked on his door and no one responds, so they went in and it smelled like crap. He was holding a knife and the front desk was called. Nancy thought he was going to kill himself, but it was totally a misunderstanding. Nancy didn't get the job because of that incident. So, she hated him because of that. The hotel vice-manager is Xu Le's best friend Ma Yong. He got Nancy a job and she kind of had a crush on him.
The story goes on to Xu Le needing inspiration decided to drive taxis because then you can talk to many people to get ideas for his novels. On a particular day, it was the taxi manager's birthday and everyone was to pick up food and go back the taxi place. Xu Le got there first and then the last person to come was his high school buddy, Ding Yu Hao. Ding Yu Hao pretended not to know him. The story of Ding Yu Hao was that after high school he went to America with his dad. There were a couple of e-mails and then after his father died, they never heard from him again. So, Xu Le and Ma Yong tried to find out what went wrong and why he never contacted them when he came back to Taiwan.
